The Rome High Marching Band 2009 will present

 "Blue Memories".

This year's show will open with memories of the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps 1980 production of "La Suertes de los Tontos" by Stan Kenton with wonderful trombone and trumpet solos. The ballad will open with the tuba section as they introduce "Pegasus" recently revived by the Blue Devils during their DCI World Championship season in 2007. And our show will conclude with the memories of "Rememberence" performed by Rome High in 2001 as we feature our percussion sections to bring our performance of great Latin jazz tunes to a rousing conclusion.

Congratulations to all the Ensembles who performed at the GMEA District VII Solo and Ensemble Event Sat.

Rome had Superior ratings for all of our Ensembles.

Congratulations to all of the Rome Jazz Bands!!!

Both Jazz bands at Rome Middle received Superior Ratings and Jazz Band I at Rome High School received Superior ratings from all the Judges. All the Rome Jazz bands received outstanding compliments from the All Star Judging panel. 

Thanks for a great year of Jazz at Rome City Schools.

Thanks to all the parents and students that helped make the Night of Dreams so successful. All the Jazz bands sounded wonderful. Great job!
