Congratulations to Rome Middle School 7th grade and 8th grade Bands for receiving Superior ratings at the Middle school Large Group Performance Evaluations held at Cartersville High School.

Congratulations to the Rome High School Concert Band and Symphonic Band for receiving Superior ratings at the High School Large Group Performance Evaluations held at Cartersville High School.

Superior is the highest rating that a Band can receive from the judges at LGPE.

Great job by all the Rome Bands Students of 2011. And congratulations to Mr. Hester, Mr. Williams, and Mr.Stubblefield.

Congratulations to the following students selected to the 2011 Georgia All State Bands. All State Band is the highest honor for a band students in the State of Georgia.

Selected to the Ga Middle School All State Band is Matthew Nedvin, Percussion.

Selected to the Ga High School 9-10 Band is Dylan Horne, Clarinet. 

Selected to the Ga High School 11-12 Band is Elizabeth Holland, Bassoon.

Over 3000 students auditioned at the final tryouts on Jan 8th. Congratulations to our Rome band students for reaching this highest level of proficiency on their instruments.

The All State Bands will assemble in Savannah, Ga March 3-5 to prepare for the honor of performing together on Sat. March 5.

Thank you all, you represent Rome Bands well.

The Rome High Sound of the Seven Hills will perform Sat. Dec. 18th at the NAIA National Championship Game. The call time is 3:30pm. We will unload the trailer for percussion and tubas at 3:00pm. After warmups, we will perform the National Anthem before the start of the Championship Game.

Please dress to stay warm under your band uniform and you may need to bring a rain poncho. Please be prepared for whatever we may face.

See you at the game Saturday.
